One scene.

The city stopped supplying the performance. Benches emptied. Feeding routines broke. The pigeons started observing the activity created by other pigeons. The dashboard remained reassuringly busy. Then an old scene was reused to fill a continuity gap. It should have kept its original observation time and origin identity. Instead, two delivery jobs gave it fresh timestamps and different identifiers. One scene became two apparent witnesses. The report grew more confident without the world supplying another event. The technician still counted sixteen bodies. The seventeenth account still looked active. Withdrawing the customer card did not erase the diagnostic record. And the diagnostic record remembered that two deliveries were not two independent observations.
